The Captain

My wife loves garage sales and bought a painting of a sea captain for the frame. I like to do portraits and decided he had a great face.  So, I painted a copy.  However, I never like to blindly copy a painting or a photo so I changed the background and his beard while keeping his facial expression.  This is the result.  I am rather pleased with it.
