Unfortunately, being one of the younger cousins, means that I lose older ones. Cousin Lucy died this March after a long battle with Altzheimer's. She was a bright, intelligent lady who was always fun. She kept me amused when her mom took care of me. Actually, I gave her no choice. I insisted that she play with me. She was a good friend, visited me in DC, and was in our wedding party. She finished college in her 60's. Her careet was varied. She started as a medical tech, worked in one of the first Cath Labs in NJ, was a drug detail person, and wrote books and articles on local history.
Another person from my happy past that will be sorely missed.
