The painting GIZMO I entered in the Monmouth County Senior Citizen Show and was lucky enough to place first again. The painting went into the State Show at Meadow Lakes. That was an honor to be among the best in the state once more.
I have been using the collage technique for several small paintings, mostly florals. I did do a couple female faces with a hats. One was a 6x6 so the hat was quite small. Carolyn found just the right fabric but bought a yard of it for $1. I needed a two inch square. She was able to pass the fabric off to one of her quilting buddies.
