Currently, there are at least 16 candidates for the Republican nomination for President and 4 for the Democratic nominination. At least 2 of the Democrates have a snowball's chance of surviving in Hell. Senator Sanders is currently surprising a lot of people and Secretary Clinton is still the front runner.
Among the Republicans are candidates so far to the right and so much a member of the religious right that they too have no chance of winning more than a few votes at the convention. Mike Huckabee is a "holy roller" whose religious opinions may agree with a few people but terrify the majority of Americans. Perry is from a line of stupid Texas governors who haven't had an acceptable idea in decades. Rubio or Scott Walker may win the nomination but either of them will lose the election. Jeb Bush is reportedly the intelligent Bush but whenever he opens his mouth he proves that he is not. Donald Trump is a buffoon who would be an intellectually dangerous leader of the free world. That leaves, Gov. Christie who is a bombastic liar, Lindsay Graham who is so much a hawk that he will cause WW3 within one month of assuming office. Rick Santorium is another religious fanatic. Carly Fiorino is a non-entity and a failed CEO of a major corporation. I can't even remember the rest.
Meanwhile, the Iran deal that was formulated by China, Russia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom along with the USA and Iran is being blasted by the far right. They prefer war to any type of negotiated peace, especially when that socialist black man had anything to do with it.'
The Senate will attempt once more to repeal Obama care. Why? Just because.
