Lumia photo

Since I prominently display a photo of my Amodio great-grandmother I thought it appropriate to post a photo of the Lumia side of the family.
This photo was taken in early 1908.  Margaret was pregnant and delivered a little girl in May.  They named her Calogera and she was called Catherine.  In the photo are the older children.  From the left are Ben (Liborio), Joe (Giuseppe, my dad), Mary (Marietta), Sarah (Rosaria), and Frances (Maria Alfonsina).  Joe was named for both grandfathers.  Mary was named for their maternal grandmother and Maria Alfonsina for their paternal grandmother.
After Catherine was born they had one more child, Samule born in 1910.  Peter died in January 1926 of pneumonia and Margaret died in 1946 of heart failure.
