Sundance and Oscar

I have been lucky enough to volunteer at the Sundance Film Festival for the past 2 years.  Last year's Sundance provided quite a few films nominated for awards this year.  Included in the films that debuted at Sundance 2010 were "the Children are All Right" with Annette Bening, "Animal Kingdom" from Australia that received a Supporting Actress nomination, "Winter Bones" that earned a couple of nominations, and documentaries "Restrepo", "Gasland" and more.  I expect this years festival to introduce more films that will receive nominations next year.  The documentaries particularly were superior to last year's excellent films.
