My blog is combination of my paintings and experience with painting and my long time interest in my family's genealogy. I have been painting for about 20 years but really only in earnest for the past 5 or so. My genealogic pursuits started about 20 years ago when I learned that the local Mormon Family History Library had microfilms from all over the work. My current database now numbers about 1700 people covering 15 or more generations and about 575 years.

New Floral paintings
The Allentown Art Guild will be having its annual Holiday Art Sale in early December. I didn't know if I had enough paintings to offer for sale so I did some tulips. I wanted to do bright red tulips and a yellow bouquet of tulips. Carolyn loves tulips so I thought I'd give them a try. I'm not sure but I may use one of these as my Holiday gift to whomever I draw for the Guild Holiday party this year.
As it turns out, I have more than enough paintings for the sale!
